INDEPENDENT BOOKINGS
An independent booking is when a photographer, model or creative wishes to hire the studio and facilities at Parklands Photographic Studio & Location.
For independent bookings, the hire charge at Parklands Photographic Studio & Location is £25ph. This hire charge grants a licence for one photographer to shoot one model, and includes use of the studio, location and facilities, as we all as studio lighting, kit and props.
Photography Club members exclusively receive the 'Club Partner Bookings' benefit; this benefit entitles two club photographers to hire the studio together, thereby reducing the total fee incurred by half for each member.
In respect of independent bookings, a cancellation fee will not apply if a booking is cancelled two weeks prior to a scheduled date.
If a cancellation occurs less than two weeks before a scheduled booking, no charge will be incurred if an alternative date is booked at the time of cancellation, otherwise the full hire cost is due.
If a cancellation occurs within 48 hours of an agreed booking date, 100% of the total booking fee is due.
The decision as to whether or not the cancellation policy is enforced is at the sole discretion of Parklands Photographic Studio & Location.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All bookings must be confirmed by Parklands Photographic Studio & Location, and will require the name, address, email and contact number of the booking party.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT
Parklands Photographic Studio & Location does not, at this time, take a booking deposit. Instead, a system of 'trust' is operated.
Any individual who fails to honour a booking will be banned from making any further bookings, and a small claims action will be filed.
DEPOSITS
Parklands Photographic Studio & Location operates a 'multi-booking policy'. This means that, on any given day, more than one booking may be in place at the same time. This is permissible due to the size and scope of the grounds and facilities.
To avoid any potential issues it is advised that any booking which carries specific requirements informs the studio of these requirements at the time of booking.
