DEPOSITS

Parklands Photographic Studio & Location operates a deposit system operating on all bookings.

The deposit fee amounts to 50% of the total booking fee, regardless of the type of booking made.

On completion of the booking form, the booking party will receive an email from bookings@parklandsstudio.com containing the payment details, and notice that on receipt of payment the booking is confirmed. We will hold the booking date for 48 hours.No booking is confirmed until receipt of the deposit.

Failure to inform the studio that you will not be attending a booking (a 'no show') is unacceptable and compromises the viability of the studio. As such, in all cases of a 'no show', the studio will request 100% of the total booking fee. Failure to pay will result in a permanent ban.

In respect of an independent booking, a deposit can be can be ‘floated’ to a rearranged date at the time of cancellation. The rearranged booking must be of the same duration as the original booking, and occur within two weeks of the original booking date.

However, if a cancellation occurs within 48 hours of booking date, 100% of the total booking fee is due.

MODEL DAYS, EVENTS & WORKSHOPS

For model days, events and workshops associated with Parklands Photographic Studio & Location all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is due to the fact that in such instances, either the studio, the model or both, actively incurs financial outlay prior to the date in question.

ENFORCEMENT

At Parklands Photographic Studio & Location we understand that cancellations are inevitable and occur for many different reasons. We aim to balance the interests of those who use the studio with the fact that Parklands Photographic Studio & Location is a business and needs to be profitable.

As such, the decision as to whether or not the cancellation policy is enforced is at the sole discretion of Parklands Photographic Studio & Location.
